Profile Sheet
A Classical Christian School
Established in 1994, Caldwell Academy offers a Classical education in the context of a Biblical worldview. Our goal is academic excellence, spiritual depth, and moral integrity, which will prepare students for a lifetime of learning. The rigorous Classical education begins with fundamentals (including Latin), and develops logic and rhetoric skills which are demonstrated throughout the curriculum. A Christian education teaches that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”: encouraging students to develop genuine and meaningful relationships with God through the person of Jesus Christ and teaching them to consider all of life, including every academic subject, within the framework of a Biblical worldview. Overall the course of study is demanding and college preparatory, in which students are required to think deeply and critically. Caldwell’s academic offering consists of three distinct, yet unified, schools: the Grammar, the Dialectic and the Rhetoric.

Grades earned in independent study courses, college and/or correspondence courses, and work completed at other schools apply toward graduation requirements but are not factored into cumulative GPA’s.
