Art
Grammar Art
Grammar Art students at Caldwell explore God’s order and beauty found in the basic elements of the principles of design. Students learn the basics of art found in the art alphabet and are shown how to apply them to their drawings, paintings, mosaics, sculptures and others.
Projects are created through a variety of media such as:
- Charcoal
- Pen/Pencil
- Craypas
- Pastels
- Watercolor
- Chalk
- Mixed Media
Through these media, students gain exposure to particular techniques and are able to experiment with several different types of media. Each grade is also exposed to an introductory level of art history that corresponds with their classroom studies - learning how art can express a culture’s worldview.
Most importantly, students learn that whatever their hands find to do they should do with all of their might for the glory of God.
