2008-2009 Student School Supply List

Please bring the following supplies with you the first day of school:

ð For organizational purposes, we coordinate our subjects by color. Please purchase one 3-ring binder (1/2” width) in each of the following solid colors: blue, green, black, grey, and white

ð One blue 3-ring binder, ½ inch width

ð One red 3-ring binder, 1 inch width

ð Ruler with both inches and centimeters

ð 5 packs (100-count each) of 3 x 5 index cards

ð Spiral bound 3 x 5 index cards (total of 200 needed for Latin)

ð Thesaurus, compact style

ð Collegiate-type Dictionary, compact-style

ð Pack of Red pens for corrections/marking

ð 8-12 count colored pencils—no crayons or markers

ð Pack of post-it notes (used to mark pages in books)

ð 1 glue stick

ð Silent pencil sharpener (not battery-powered)

ð 3 packs of wide-rule loose leaf paper

ð Two dozen #2 pencils for classroom supply-please bring in already sharpened

ð Scissors

ð 1 pack of multi-colored highlighters

ð 1 large bag of individually wrapped candy for classroom use J (lollipops are great for test taking—no gum, please)

ð 2 boxes of tissues for classroom supply

ð Small marker board, approximately 10 x 12

ð Small pack of dry erase markers

ð Dry-erase board eraser

ð One “used” men’s button-down dress shirt to use as an art smock
